Carrot Group, Inc. (“Carrot,” “we,” “our,” and/or “us”) values the privacy of individuals who use our application, website, and related services (collectively, our “Services”). This privacy policy (the “Privacy Policy”) explains how we collect, use, and share information from users of our Services (“Users”). By using our Services, you agree to the collection, use, disclosure, and procedures this Privacy Policy describes. Beyond the Privacy Policy, your use of our Services is also subject to our Terms and Conditions (digcarrot.com/terms-of-service).
Information We Collect
We collect information about you from various sources, as described below.
A. Information You Provide to Us.
Registration and Profile Information. When you sign up for an account, we ask you for your name, phone number, email, username, and date of birth. We will send a verification code to the phone number you provide when you sign up for an account. If you choose to upload one, we will collect your profile picture. We will also collect any other profile information you choose to provide.
Your Content. If you submit information through our Services, such as sending questions and images to your friends, or responding to the Daily Dig or your other users’ questions, we receive that information.
NFT Submissions. If you choose to submit an NFT through our Services, we will collect information from you, including the link to your NFT, proof of originality, and your email address.
Communications. If you contact us directly, we may receive additional information about you. For example, when you contact our Customer Support Team, we will receive your name, email address, phone number, the contents of a message or attachments that you may send to us, and other information you choose to provide. When we send you emails, we may track whether you open them to learn how to deliver a better customer experience and improve our Services.
Payment Information. Our third-party payment processor collects payment information, such as credit card or other financial information, where required for the purpose of payment. When you link your cryptocurrency wallet to your account (e.g., to withdraw your carrot coins), we will receive your public wallet address.
B. Information We Collect When You Use Our Services.
Device Information. We receive information about the device and software you use to access our Services, including IP address (which may tell us your general location), web browser type, operating system version, phone carrier and manufacturer, application installations, device identifiers, mobile advertising identifiers, and push notification tokens.
Usage Information. We automatically receive information about your interactions with our Services, like the pages or other content you view, the searches you conduct, people you follow, purchases you make, content you “thumbs up,” and the dates and times of your visits.
Your Contacts. If you permit us to access the address book on your device in order to invite friends to the Services, we will collect names and contact information of the friends that you select to invite. We also receive your friends’ phone numbers if you directly invite them through our Services.
Your Messages. When you exchange messages with other users through our Services, we receive those messages.
Information from Cookies and Similar Technologies. We and our third-party partners collect information using cookies, pixel tags, or similar technologies. Our third-party partners, such as analytics and advertising partners, may use these technologies to collect information about your online activities over time and across different services. Cookies are small text files containing a string of alphanumeric characters. We may use both session cookies and persistent cookies. A session cookie disappears after you close your browser. A persistent cookie remains after you close your browser and may be used by your browser on subsequent visits to our Services.

How We Share the Information We Collect
Affiliates. We may share any information we receive with our current or future affiliates for any of the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.

Your Content. Our Services are social services in which you can find, enjoy, and share content. Your username, profile picture, and other profile information will always be viewable and searchable by other users. The content you post to the Services, such as responses to the Daily Dig and content you “thumbs up” will be viewable by other users. Your friends will also be able to see your name associated with your content. The answers and messages you send directly to another user will be visible to that user, but will not be made publicly available. We are not responsible for the other users’ use of available information, so you should carefully consider whether and what to post or how you identify yourself on the Services.
Analytics Partners. We use analytics services such as Google Analytics to collect and process certain analytics data. These services may also collect information about your use of other websites, apps, and online resources. Advertising Partners. We work with third-party advertising partners to show you ads that we think may interest you. Some of our advertising partners are members of the Network Advertising Initiative (https://optout.networkadvertising.org) or the Digital Advertising Alliance (https://optout.aboutads.info). If you do not wish to receive personalized ads, please visit their opt-out pages to learn about how you may opt out of receiving web-based personalized ads from member companies. You can access any settings offered by your mobile operating system to limit ad tracking, or you can install the AppChoices mobile app to learn more about how you may opt out of personalized ads in mobile apps.
As Required By Law and Similar Disclosures. We may access, preserve, and disclose your information if we believe doing so is required or appropriate to: (a) comply with law enforcement requests and legal process, such as a court order or subpoena; (b) respond to your requests; or (c) protect your, our, or others’ rights, property, or safety. For the avoidance of doubt, the disclosure of your information may occur if you post any objectionable content on or through the Services.
Merger, Sale, or Other Asset Transfers. We may transfer your information to service providers, advisors, potential transactional partners, or other third parties in connection with the consideration, negotiation, or completion of a corporate transaction in which we are acquired by or merged with another company or we sell, liquidate, or transfer all or a portion of our assets. Your Choices
Contacts. If you have given us access to your contacts, you may disable our access through your mobile operating system settings.
Marketing Communications. You can unsubscribe from our promotional emails via the link provided in the emails. Even if you opt out of receiving promotional messages from us, you will continue to receive administrative messages from us.
Blocking Users. You may block friends or other contacts, in which case the user cannot send you carrots, chats, or see your Daily Dig responses.
SMS Messages. You can turn off your ability to receive Carrots sent by other Carrot users via SMS through your Carrot settings.
If you choose not to provide us with information we collect, some features of our Services may not work as intended.
Third Parties
Our Services may contain links to other websites, products, or services that we do not own or operate. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third parties. Please be aware that this Privacy Policy does not apply to your activities on these third-party services or any information you disclose to these third parties. We encourage you to read their privacy policies before providing any information to them.
Security
We make reasonable efforts to protect your information by using physical and electronic safeguards designed to improve the security of the information we maintain. However, as no electronic transmission or storage of information can be entirely secure, we can make no guarantees as to the security or privacy of your information.
Children’s Privacy
We do not knowingly collect, maintain, or use personal information from children under 13 years of age, and no part of our Services is directed to children. If you learn that a child has provided us with personal information in violation of this Privacy Policy, then you may alert us at support@digcarrot.com.
If you are a California resident under the age of 18 and you wish to remove content that you publicly posted, you may submit a request by contacting us at support@digcarrot.com. Removing the public content does not ensure complete or comprehensive removal of the content or information.
International Visitors
Our Services are hosted in the United States and intended for visitors located within the United States. If you choose to use the Services from the European Union or other regions of the world with laws governing data collection and use that may differ from U.S. law, then please note that you are transferring your personal information outside of those regions to the United States for storage and processing. Also, we may transfer your data from the U.S. to other countries or regions in connection with storage and processing of data, fulfilling your requests, and operating the Services. By providing any information, including personal information, on or to the Services, you consent to such transfer, storage, and processing.

You can update your account and profile information or close your account through your profile settings.

General
When you opt-in to the service, we will send you a message to confirm your signup.
By opting into messages, you agree to receive recurring automated marketing and informational text messages from Carrot for Carrot SMS Messaging. Automated messages may be sent using an automatic telephone dialing system to the mobile telephone number you provided when signing up or any other number that you designate.
Message frequency varies, and additional mobile messages may be sent periodically based on your interaction with Carrot. Carrot Group Inc. reserves the right to alter the frequency of messages sent at any time to increase or decrease the total number of sent messages. Carrot Group Inc. also reserves the right to change the short code or phone number where messages are sent.
Message and data rates may apply. If you have any questions about your text plan or data plan, it is best to contact your wireless provider. Your wireless provider is not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Your consent to receive marketing messages is not a condition of purchase.
Carriers
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Cancellation
You can cancel any time by texting “STOP”. After you send the SMS message “STOP”, we will send you a message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed and no more messages will be sent. If you would like to receive messages from Carrot again, just sign up as you did the first time and Carrot will start sending messages to you again.

Transfer of Number
You agree that before changing your mobile number or transferring your mobile number to another individual, you will either reply “STOP” from the original number or notify us of your old number at team@digcarrot.com. The duty to inform us based on the above events is a condition of using this service to receive messages.

Messaging Terms Changes
We reserve the right to change or terminate our messaging program at any time. We also reserve the right to update these Messaging Terms at any time.
